Teacher award ceremony will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 7pm in the Calimesa building.

Which Teachers Can I nominate?

Any teacher grades K-12 are eligible to be nominated.
The most important qualification is that you have a personal connection with them. Typically, nominees are teachers who are currently working within the school districts within our stake, as this allows them to invite coworkers, family, and friends to join in celebrating this recognition.

Teachers shape lives in profound and lasting ways. Each day, they inspire curiosity, foster growth, and help students discover their potential. The Teacher of Excellence Award is our community’s way of recognizing and celebrating those educators whose dedication goes above and beyond.

Each year, between three and five teachers within our stake boundaries are selected for this honor. These are teachers who not only excel in the classroom but also demonstrate a deep commitment to their students, families, and the broader community.

The award reflects our belief that excellent teaching deserves to be seen, shared, and celebrated. By highlighting the contributions of these educators, we hope to uplift our schools, strengthen families, and encourage a culture of gratitude and learning.

How to Nominate a Teacher

We invite students and parents to help us recognize outstanding educators by submitting a nomination for the Teacher of Excellence Award. Nominations are open to all teachers serving within the schools and districts that fall under our stake boundaries.

Here’s how it works:

Complete the Online Form – Click the link below to access our nomination form.
Share Your Story – Tell us why your teacher deserves to be recognized. Examples of dedication, creativity, or personal impact are especially meaningful.
Submit by the Deadline – All nominations must be received on or before February 28th.

Each nomination will be carefully reviewed by the award committee. Between three and five teachers will be honored at our annual recognition event later in the year.
